Dragonfly class have been getting into the mood for summer. We used paper plates to make Seaside/Underwater scenes, for our classroom display. We painted our plate blue, for the sea, sprinkled real sand on, for the beach. Then we added pictures of sea creatures, and decorated with glitter, shells and tissue paper to complete the look. We also made ‘Red Crab’ handprint pictures to add to our display.
Earlier this term, in Dragonfly Class, we celebrated Diwali by having a Diwali inspired Coffee Morning. We made Diva Lamp cards, and the children had Mehndi Designs painted on their hands, using face paints. There was lots of different Indian foods to taste, which the children really loved and we all got a chance to dress up in tradition Indian clothes.
