Whole Phase

Harvest Assembly took place on Thursday 10th October. The assembly was again led by Reverend Kathy Evans. This year, Lower and Middle school children helped to tell the story of the Enormous Turnip. We were thinking about how good it is to help each other. The assembly was amazing, and each class had a part to play. The enormous turnip made by class 11 was ENORMOUS! We were treated to some very amazing acting skills, some super reading of prayers and some excellent singing led by our school choir. Our display of food was amazing and created from the generosity of our lovely Orchard families and staff. The assembly was followed by a cup of tea with a wonderful choice of cakes and biscuits, some made by the children and staff. We raised £75.36 for the Macmillan cancer charity. Fantastic!
