During this half term in class 15 we have been reading the story ‘Walking Through the Jungle’ pupils have listened and joined in with our story, acted out the story using different props, described the animals in our story using COSST, sequenced the story and made our own sentences about the animals/boy in our story. We enjoyed the repeating rhyme and listening to the different sounds the animals made and would request these over and over. In phonological awareness we have been listening to different animal sounds and matching them to pictures.
